Stylish Interiors Spotlight: Part 1

Recently, I have discovered Amy Morris. She is a interior designer from Atlanta, Georgia.  I love her style and clean, but traditional aesthetic. This post is part 1 of the images that most inspire me from her work.

Probably my favorite aspect of Amy's design is her use of lighting. Her selection is subtle, yet effective. She does not overuse sconces and light fixtures, but strategically places lamps and pendants for purpose and design.

I also respect her use of color. Her interiors are very organic and her color selection reflects the use of  architectural materials as well as accessories and art.

Spring & Landscape Love

I love spring and I love pretty landscape, both of which are constantly on my mind for my own home right now.

Reading the latest {Milieu} Magazine I was inspired by both the symmetry and the use of the planting in the article "A Writer's Style". See photo below.

I have always loved the mixture of raw materials in landscaping and hardscaping. The next several images from {pinterest} are inspirational.

My currant landscaping obsessions are pea gravel, antique stone and painted brick, antique pots, moss covered anything.. and a pop of color. Oh and tulips are everything.
