10 THINGS I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT AND INSPIRE ME AS A DESIGNER

1. God & Family
My husband Michael is my first love. We have one son, Gage, who is currently 5 months and is amazing. We also have two pets that were our first children, a Chesapeake bay/lab mix named Bear and a cat named Opie. 

2. Antique Shopping
My go-to shops are: Back Row Antiques, MAI, Joyce Horn, AREA, Liz Spradling, Found, Joyce Horn, Bill Gardner, and of course Chateau Domingue 

3. Beautiful Fabrics
My go-to showrooms are: David Sutherland, George Cameron Nash, Kravet/Brunschwig & Fils, and Culp Associates. Also Fortuny and Sister Parish fabrics. 

4. Inspirational Reading
Vogue, Architectural Digest, Veranda, Milieu Magazine, Garden and Gun, Elle Decor

5. Inspiration Artists
There are so many to choose!! Currently I am creating my own art pieces. My medium of choice is watercolor. Two of my favorite galleries are Laura Rathe & Octavia Art Gallery 

6. Decorative Finishes
Segreto does beautiful faux finishing as well as plastering.

7. Timeless Interiors
There are so many fantastic interiors and designers I love. However, I have been inspired most by the interior designers I have worked for, Ray Booth with McAlpine Booth, and Ferrier Interiors, Josie McCarthy of Josie McCarthy and Associates, Rachael Miclette & Beverly Jacomini of Jacomini Miclette Design and Kara Childress of Kara Childress Inc. All of whom have taught me different elements of design. 

8. Beautiful Linens
My go-to shops for linens are Kuhl - Linscomb and Longoria Collection. My favs are Leontine Linens, Julia B, and Matouk. 

9. Travel (US)
Texas Hill Country, Santa Barbara, CA. , Montana, New York City, My hometown San Antonio, TX., Vail/Beaver Creek, CO., and Jackson Hole, WY. 

10. Inspirational Fashion
Ralph Lauren Anything... Carolina Herrera, Oscar De la Renta, Valentino... there are so many other designers I love and feel inspired by. I also love Mexican dresses and embroidery!
